Who I Am & How We Got Here
I’ve always believed that life is a series of pivots. Some are chosen. Some are forced upon us. And somewhere in between, we find ourselves—reshaped, redefined, and, if we allow it, reborn.
My name is Michelle Vaughn, and if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know my story isn’t a straight path. It’s winding, messy, painful, and powerful. I’ve built businesses, written books, and spoken on stages. I’ve experienced success at levels I once only dreamed of. But I’ve also walked through the kind of loss that shakes your soul to its core.
I am a mother to Dylan and Destin—my greatest gifts. When Dylan passed away in 2023, my world shattered. There’s no way to soften that reality. But in that unimaginable grief, I found something I never expected: a deeper calling. One that isn’t about chasing achievements but about creating impact. One that isn’t about pushing through but about aligning. One that isn’t just about me, but about all of us—those of us who are still standing, still fighting, still believing in what’s next.
For over 25 years, I’ve helped individuals and businesses unlock their potential. I’ve guided people through financial decisions as a mortgage expert, coached entrepreneurs toward clarity, and shared my truth in ways that I never thought I’d have the courage to. But at my core? I’m a woman who knows what it feels like to lose everything—and build again, this time, from something deeper.

After closing Paradise Mortgage in 2024, I knew I couldn’t just “go back” to who I was before. That chapter was powerful, but it wasn’t the whole book.
I started reflecting on what truly mattered: freedom, impact, and alignment.
Freedom from systems that drained me.
Impact that extended beyond transactions and into transformation.
Alignment with a life that actually felt good, not just looked good.
And from that, Michelle Vaughn Co. was born—a new season, a new purpose, a new way of moving forward.
